My name is Monica Jean.

I’m sixteen years old, a junior in high school, and I live in Massachusetts.

I like to blog, read, write, and wonder about things.

I’m a total Anglophile, I adore everything British. I hope to live there someday. Obviously I live in America but pretty much the only television I watch is British.

I’m sort of a humanities girl. Reading, writing, linguistics, theatre, philosophy, history, all of it. I love it. I’m going to focus on that when I go to college in a couple years!

If you’re into fandoms, I like Starkid, Harry Potter, Glee, Sherlock, and Doctor Who. I also love watching Disney movies and documentaries (particularly British ones).

I created this blog last August because I felt that nerds were kind of underrepresented in the world of Tumblr.

I was looking for a place where nerds could come together and share common interests, jokes, stories, facts, and idiosyncrasies. Nerd Quirks is a compilation of all the things that make nerds so special and unique!
