Just saw The Avengers
And it was really excellent.
I mean, I love, love, love action movies.
And I adore my superheroes.
And The Avengers was one of the best action movies ever. And it was absolutely hilarious, I definitely did not expect it to be that funny.
Really, like, the whole thing was phenomenal.
Edit: For those of you that asked, my favorite superheroes we’re most definitely Iron Man (he’s so full of himself and I love Robert Downey Jr. Plus he offered a lot of comedic relief!) the Hulk (love, love, love him, he is SUCH a geek, but also has such a dynamic character) and Black Widow (she was so tough, it was really refreshing to see a female in an action movie with a strong, powerful character, plus I love the darker aspects of her character).
All in all, it was seriously the most epic and badass 143 minutes of my life and ever.

That little fun fact about you trying to impress your teacher by using pen on your homework as a little 5 year old was the sweetest thing ever. I just pictured a mini-Monica Jean in pigtails getting out a pen too big for her hand all excited to do her homework. And look at you now! c:
