I have a mutual friend with you on Facebook!
You looked me up on Facebook? Hahaha not sure if I should be creeped out or flattered!
Except I shouldn’t be creeped out at all because, as the admin, there’s a link to my profile right off of the Nerd Quirks Facebook page. Makes sense.
Anyway, come off anon and tell me who it is!? :]
Has you ever noticed how quickly your Nerd Quirk posts accumulate notes?
I have noticed it! I always pay close attention to what’s happening here!
It’s crazy isn’t it? :] Sometimes I can’t believe it!
I have absolutely no idea who you are but I looked at this and fell in love.
Why thank you, sweet anon! :]
pusillanimous: (adjective) cowardly, profoundly lacking in noble qualities of courage and valor
I just feel better about it that way!
Thanks to sauniell for this submission!
Edit: I know some of you were saying that this was wrong, and that it is actually more accurate to keep the value as a fraction. You’re right! Though I think the circumstances of whether or not it’s okay to convert can be a bit subjective.
But what sauniell and I meant was that we just felt better converting the fractions to a decimal for a more specific, clear-cut answer. That’s why we said “seems more accurate”.
I hope that clears up any confusion. :]
Guys, I’m eating cookies and milk and my cat is watching me.
I know she’s just waiting for me to drop the cookie inside the milk so it can get all mushy and then I’ll have to take it out with a spoon.
I just know that’s what she’s waiting for.
And then it’ll probably happen and she’ll just be like, ugh, moron, way to drop your cookie into the glass of milk. Oh, now you’re going to try to fish it out with a spoon? You seem to think you’re a clever human, don’t you? Well you’re not, because if you were a clever human then you wouldn’t have dropped your cookie into your glass of milk. I can’t believe this is the loser that pours me food everyday, I mean how are you even smart enough to open a bag of cat food if you’re not smart enough to not drop your cookie into your glass of milk?
grandeur: (noun) the quality of being grand or maginficent
I saw The Woman in Black today! Here’s a little review for you! *NO SPOILERS I promise!*
I saw The Woman in Black tonight! I loved it! Daniel Radcliffe is brilliant.
I thought the movie was really interesting because in a way, it was sort of enchanting and charming while somehow still being morbid.
Just the whole old British countryside with the old train and the typewriter and the lace and tea kettles was lovely. The marsh was actually really beautiful! And I love the fog and the old mansions. The graveyard was really actually very pretty.
Don’t get me wrong, it was still scary and rather horrifying, but it was what I like to call morbidly lovely. I guess I just kind of like eerie, creepy things.
Many people disliked the ending, but I thought it was absolutely perfect. So I’ll let you dwell on that a bit.
The only thing that bothered me had nothing to do with the movie…
Screenshot from the movie “Never Been Kissed.” Can you spot the error?
It didn’t necessarily bother me that the person who made this piece for the set didn’t know pi, it bothered me that they didn’t even care to look it up.
I mean, why can’t you be entertaining and informative at the same time?! :]
Thanks to queenkimmie for this lovely submission!
