Just read your post about not wanting to live in residence halls (sorry I work in Housing at a University as an RA lol) why is that?

I think it will just be nice for me to have that familiarity of home. I won’t have to worry about roommates or other students, or noise, or fees for food and other things, or having to go to the library because it’s too loud, or having to be around people all the time. It will just be nice to come home and come back to my own space.
Not that there’s anything wrong with dorming, I’m sure there are a ton of people who would much prefer it to staying home. It’s just not for me.
I’m basically a little old lady in a teenagers body. I need to be able to go to my quiet home and drink my tea with my cat and listen to show tunes and crochet scarves and watch disney movies in my Harry Potter snuggie. :P
This might be getting to you a little too late, but whatever. I worked in a Greek restaurant for a year while at university, and had to clean and prep the calamari on a regular basis. Lemon juice is the best thing for getting rid of that squid smell. One half of a lemon per hand, scrub it, squeeze it, rub it around and dig your fingers into the rind etc. Switch hands and repeat. Hope that helps.

I would rather stay local because I really don’t want to dorm. I’d like to be able to continue living at home, which limits me a bit. Who knows?
I think I’ll have to decide/have an idea about what I’ll major in and that is going to be a rather difficult decision because I want to be everything in life. Which sounds crazy, I know. I guess I’m just one indecisive girl. :]
