Thanks to nerdydyke for this submission! :D
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope you all had an delightful day and you enjoyed the parade and you ate way too much food and you were thankful and you spent some time with your family, friends, cats etc. :]
I’m thankful for the 9,000-something friends I have here on Nerd Quirks<3
Can’t be too careful! Thanks to the seemingly paradoxical serenechaos for this one!
The UK is comprised of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and Northern Ireland.
Then there’s the Republic of Ireland, which is technically not part of the UK.
I just never specified for you guys which Ireland I was talking about, the part in the UK or not. To clarify ALL IRELAND IS THE BEST IRELAND TO MEE<3
I dunno it all seems a bit confusing to me! Here in the states, you’re a state and that’s really all there is to it :p
Also: thanks to the anons who sent me all those messages, nice of you to try and set things straight and back up what I was thinking. :]
No I understand what you mean. :]
I know Ireland isn’t a part of the UK, I was just sort of generalizing. But I can see how that can be a bit of a touchy subject so sorry guys. :]
That’s awesome that you studied abroad!!! I bet it was wonderful! Very jealous of you!
Yess nerds unite! :D
ENGLAND. That’s like my dream vacation. Or dream life. I wish I was born there instead.
I’m such an anglophile it’s not even funny. It’s quite pathetic, really. My family has no idea where I came from. But I want to travel to England so so badly and I’d even like to live there someday for a short (or maybe longish, who knows) amount of time.
But also Irelend and Scotland. My heart belongs to the UK<3
