The Faeriewalker series by Jenna Black, starting with the book Faeriewalker is about faeries. I like it, not sure what kind of faeries they were going for , but you know...
To the person who asked about books faeries they should look at books by the author Holly Black
Ah, the hardest question I've ever been asked. Mine (forgoing books that everyone likes i.e. Harry Potter and such) are Good Omens (basically all of Neil Gaiman's books), Lord of the Flies, Wuthering Heights, ... ugh. Can I just say every good book in the world? :D That's our trouble I suppose... too many good books.
Too many good books is right :]
Wicked Lovely. It is about Faeries....but I don't know if that is the type of faeries you want.
Thats awesome!
That title uses two of my all-time favorite words.
Holly Black, Melissa Marr and Charles de Lint all do wonderful Urban Fey stories. And O.R. Melling's The Chronicles of Faerie [The Hunter's Moon, The Summer King, The Lightbearer's Daughter and The Book of Dreams] is very good as well.
Faerie books! Love 'em. Melissa Marr's series Wicked Lovely is my favourite. Very good :)
Artemis Fowl
Artemis Fowl has fairies in it…
Why did you post an ask that says someone's favorite book is Mein Kampf? This book is the autobiography of one of the worst people in human history, who caused the horrible, tortured deaths of millions of people. This book outlines his political idealogy. It also contains Hitler's blatant anti-Semitism and his decision to exterminate millions of Jews. Why that would be anyone's favorite book, I have no idea, and your choice to publish that ask shows a disrespect for the Holocaust.
I don’t think it shows disrespect for the Holocaust at all. I think it would be a fascinating book to read. To see what his life was like and see what went on in his mind. Maybe see a bit of what made him up as a person ad why he acted the way he did.
I really like books about people and their lives and how they think and what goes through their minds regardless of what it is. I’m a fan of seeing why people act the way they do and what they think about.
To be honest, I like books about people. Hitler was a person, and a person is a person. And not only is he a person, but he’s a person with a book. A book that has a story, that would be interesting to read. I bet there’s a lot you could learn about people and their minds and how things affect them in certain ways and how they form certain ideas.
Don’t be upset about it.
Favorite books. gosh too many I like Perks of Being a Wallflower, East of Eden, Hunger Games, Great Gatsby, Scarlet Letter, Angela's Ashes, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Eragon, goodness too many!
Oh, forgot one: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
I read a bit of that! I want to finish it! :]
Holly Black wrote Tithe, which is a nice faerie book :)
