My favorites at the moment are: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, To Kill a Mockingbird, anything Sherlock Holmes, and Night by Eli Wiesel.
Dexter's books. Scary and funny. Probably the only books that made me laugh out loud and then scare me just a few pages later. It's absolutely brilliant.

I love the Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black, Harry Potter, the Young Wizards series by Diane Duane, anything and everything by Tamora Pierce, the Thief and sequels by Megan Whalen Turner, anything by Laurell K Hamilton, Patricia Briggs, Den of Shadows quartet by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, and tons more that are on display in my closet and thus too far away for my piteous vision to identify at this point in time.

Oh, good lord this always a marathon list. As just about any Tumblr-er I grew up on HP, but I also looooove Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy, R. A. Salvatore's War of the Spider Queen and Drizzt Do'Urden books, anything Simon R. Green or Jacqueline Carey. The Redwall Books and everything Mercedes Lackey has ever written ever. Charlaine Harris and Holly Black are excellent, too. (My apologies for giving authors, but specific titles is far to long a list)
