Okay, what did you all think of The Hobbit?

I saw it the day after it came out (no midnight premiere for me, it was a school night!) and I thought it was positively brilliant! And the music was absolutely breathtaking. (The little grey box below is a clip of them singing Misty Mountains and it’s so beautiful it gives you chills. My friend and I actually sang this at lunch the other day at school hahaha)

What did you guys think? Did you see it at midnight? How well did you think it was adapted from the book? Are you looking forward to the next one? I sure am!

Mom: Why is everyone such a grouch today?

Me: Our moon is a waxing crescent, that makes the hobbits extra rowdy. We throw parties at the shire.

Me: You mean I'm a hermit.
