I saw The Woman in Black tonight! I loved it! Daniel Radcliffe is brilliant.
I thought the movie was really interesting because in a way, it was sort of enchanting and charming while somehow still being morbid.
Just the whole old British countryside with the old train and the typewriter and the lace and tea kettles was lovely. The marsh was actually really beautiful! And I love the fog and the old mansions. The graveyard was really actually very pretty.
Don’t get me wrong, it was still scary and rather horrifying, but it was what I like to call morbidly lovely. I guess I just kind of like eerie, creepy things.
Many people disliked the ending, but I thought it was absolutely perfect. So I’ll let you dwell on that a bit.
The only thing that bothered me had nothing to do with the movie…
