Just saw a commercial that said “Drinking Sunkist soda is like drinking the sun.”

And the analytical, logical part of my mind said:

“Well that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. It’s not even a rational simile. I mean, no one could drink the sun. Do you even know how hot the sun is? 15 million degrees celcius at the core. No one could ever “drink” that? What is wrong with people.”

And the whimsical, imaginative, writer part of my mind said:

“Hmm, that’s very poetic actually. I quite like that, it’s a rather creative way to describe it.”

Fact: My mind is forever at conflict with itself.
